Today we had our first welding course completion at the Rise Ventures Trades Skills Hub!
The training started on the 14th of February 2022, and was a three-week course designed to teach our participants the basic skills and knowledge to safely weld a wide range of metals using the three welding processes.

Batchelor Institute is the only First Nations dual sector tertiary education provider is Australia along with Kalano, RISE and Nyirrunggulan RISE Participants participated in the welding course .
This course will prepare our participants with skills and knowledge for welding and fabrication, from this course there is pathways into Certificate II in Engineering or a relevant industry qualification
The trainees really enjoyed the course and learned highly practical skills that can be used a variety of job roles.
