RISE Ventures could not achieve positive outcomes within communities without strong local partnerships. We are proud to partner with Aboriginal organisations, Shire Councils, employment and wellbeing support services, and the Federal Government to deliver our programs.

Kalano Community Association
Based in Katherine, the Kalano Community Association is an Aboriginal-run organisation that was established to meet the social, economic and cultural needs of First Nations people in Katherine.
RISE Ventures partners with Kalano to deliver the Community Development Program.
Alongside employment services, Kalano offers residential rehabilitation programs, youth outreach, disability support, community night patrol, housing support and municipal and essential services.
Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council
The Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council cares for and manages all aspects of the Pomrpuraaw township and surrounds.
In 1986, they gained title to the area through a Deed of Grant in Trust (DOGIT) and have full local government authority over the trust area of 466,198 hectares.
RISE Ventures works closely with the Council on projects that enhance the community, as well as managing all the recruitment for Council positions.
Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council
The Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire Council administer the beautiful lands and community within the Kowanyama Aboriginal Shire. They aim to be leaders in caring their Country and developing pathways for their future generations.
RISE Ventures supports the Council in this vision and work together to provide employment, training and entrepreneurship opportunities to local people.
Nyirrunggulung-RISE
Rise Ventures and the Jawoyn Association have partnered together to create a joint venture called Nyirrunggulung-RISE.
Nyirrunggulung-RISE means “working together’ and together, we create positive employment, education, infrastructure and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal communities in Central Arnhem Land.
Our teams work in the communities of Beswick, Barunga, Manyallaluk, Binjari and Bulman, and have a skills training hub in Katherine.
uLaunch
Part of the AKG family, uLaunch helps Australians with a disability, injury and mental health condition with their employment, education and life goals.
RISE Ventures has partnered with uLaunch to deliver NDIS services in Kowanyama, Katherine and Central Arnhem communities.
As well as helping locals to access NDIS funding, uLaunch employs local support workers who provide essential services to their clients, such as cleaning, cooking, shopping and personal care. This has opened up new employment opportunities within community.
Healthfind
Healthfind, delivered by Jobfind, offers therapeutic services and life skills support to build their client’s capacity to reach their employment and life goals.
Healthfind offers coaching, counselling and referral services in our confidential wellbeing room in Katherine, with outreach to Central Arnhem communities.
National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA)
RISE Ventures works with NIAA to deliver their Community Development Program (CDP), Trialing Pathways to Real Jobs (TPRJ) Program and the new Indigenous Skills and Employment Program (ISEP).
Through our work, we strive to achieve the Federal Government’s ‘Closing the Gap’ targets.
