Indigenous Women in Construction
On September 1st, 2nd and 3rd. Two women from Beswick participated in and competed a Traffic Management Course at Charles Darwin University Katherine in preparation for the Indigenous Women in Construction Project.

The course contained practical and theoretical units which has resulted in 2
qualified women who will now be suitable applicants for upcoming project work; such as the Central Arnhem Road Upgrade, Tindal RAAF Base work and potential work at Mt Todd Mine.

Participants came from Beswick and are indigenous CDP participants.
Jenna White is the Project Officer for NYIR RISE. Jenna mentored participants, encouraged and supported them to attend the training.
