The SEE program has finally arrived in Kowanyama! This has been a long awaited program for the Kowanyama community as this program provides the community with a creative option of addressing LLN issues and building skills.
The program commenced with 3 trainers visiting in the first week. Two trainers undertaking LLN assessments and the third doing the practical training. The practical project will be the erection of an important shed in the community.
The two assessors will be back next week to complete white card training for all who are engaged.
This will provide opportunities for participants to gain construction labouring work with contractors in the community.
