RISE Vacancy Drive BBQ

RISE held a Vacancy Drive on the 25th of October in Pormpuraaw to highlight and promote the current vacancies to the community.

Getting ready to meet all the jobseekers and to showcase all the current roles available.

As a result, there were 11 applications in total and there were jobs available in parks and gardens, Community Services workers, Aged Care workers, and Essential Service workers.

The Mayor and the CEO of the Council also attended the event to promote Council jobs to the community and encourage local people to apply for local jobs. All of these jobs are available with the Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council and there is still time to lodge applications.
