We were lucky enough to have IDLU (Indigenous Driver Licensing Program) visit community last March (March 1st to the 4th of March 2022) assisting with ID and licencing barriers.
RISE assisted with the highest numbers of 59 jobseekers through this period.
When IDLU arrived and set up at the Community Centre, RISE worked very closely with IDLU to help them get set up on site.
Lavinia did an amazing job with picking up and dropping off jobseekers, she really did an fantastic job. IDLU couldn’t have envisaged such a successful outcome if it were not for the assistance of the RISE staff.
We would like to thank everyone for their assistance and look forward to another successful visit late in the year. We have locked in dates for IDLU to make the visit twice a year.
