On Friday the 18th of June, RISE was invited to attend the Indigenous Careers Expo held at the Kalano Sports Precinct at Kalano Community Association.
The Indigenous Careers Day is a day for our Mob to engage with businesses and organisations from the Katherine, Big Rivers, and surrounding areas to develop an understanding and passion for the many Indigenous identified roles throughout our community.
Community members had the opportunity to engage with different businesses/organisations and understand the roles available to them. In attendance was local Indigenous organisations with indigenous identified roles operating in the local area.
RISE was in attendance handing out gift bags and information regarding the RISE Business and potential employment opportunities.
