High Risk Training

Seven of our participants completed High Risk Training at the RISE Training shed. The training involved Forklift licence training and Elevating Work Platform EWP.

Often, workers are required to move materials around a work site, load trucks, stack and store goods and materials, a forklift licence provides good employment entry options in a wide range of industries in the Northern Territory.

If you had no idea what EWP is, here is a breakdown

EWP – Boom-type elevating work platform means a telescoping device, hinged device, or articulated device, or any combination of these, used to support a platform on which personnel, equipment and materials may be elevated skills and knowledge are required to operate a boom elevating work platform safely

These newly gained tickets will enable our participants to gain employment in the Civil Construction field.
