Certificate I in Construction commenced on Monday 18th October 2021. It’s great to see youth aged job seekers engaged in a valuable training course to skill them for emerging work in Kowanyama.
They will be in the classroom for the next week completing their theory. The following week the participants will move onto the practical component of the training, which will include the construction of pallet furniture.
This will assist the job seekers to gain new skills and knowledge, giving them real-life work skills and routines. The course will run for the next four weeks and during this time the participants will have the opportunity to complete the full Certificate I in Construction.
