There has been a lot of care and attention shown by the RISE Ventures crew in these projects which are close to the heart of all in Pormpuraaw. These photos speak volumes about the dedication and commitment to the restoration of the local cemeteries. Once one cemetery has been finished we have moved on to the next one. Pormpuraaw Cemeteries
RISE Ventures acknowledges the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognises their connection to land, water and community. We pay our respects to all First Nations people and their cultures, and to elders both past and present.
Our teams live and work on the lands of the Kokoberra, Kunjen and Kokomenjen people in Kowanyama, the Thaayore, Wik, Bakanh and Yir Yoront people in Pormpuraaw, the Jawoyn, Dagoman, and Wardaman people in Katherine, and the Gimuy-walubarra yidi people in Cairns.
