Certificate III in Parks and Gardens

We have commenced a Certificate III in Parks and Gardens in Pormpuraaw with the full support of Pormpuraaw Aboriginal Shire Council. This course will provide skills and confidence to jobseekers to gain employment with the Council as well as having real hands on experience of improving the community.

Minjilang Beautification

The Garden and Beautification crew have been actively engaging in the Hydroponics project, re-vamping the Jobfind Office yard as well as increasing their Money Management and LL&N skills. Involvement has increased significantly as Jobseekers have gained a better understanding of their mutual obligations as well as the growth of plants in the hydroponics “igloos”.
